FreeChecked September 15, 2026
A daily reminder helps you keep watching and keep your streak going. You choose if and when it comes.
How to turn on the daily reminder
- Open the Profile tab and tap the gear to open Settings.
- Tap Reminders.
- Turn on Daily Reminder.
- If iOS asks, allow notifications.
- Set Time.
The reminder comes every day at that time. To stop it, turn Daily Reminder off.
Review reminders
When words in Vocabulary are due for review, PlayLingo sends Time to review with the number of words waiting.
- It comes only while Daily Reminder is on.
- It comes in the other half of the day: in the evening if your daily reminder is in the morning, and in the morning if it’s after noon.
- Turn off Daily Reminder to stop both.
If notifications are blocked
If you see Notifications are blocked, notifications for PlayLingo are off in iOS.
- Tap Open Settings on that banner.
- Turn on Allow Notifications.
- Return to PlayLingo and turn on Daily Reminder again.
Common questions
I turned the reminder on, but nothing comes
Check that notifications aren’t blocked (see above) and that a Focus mode doesn’t silence PlayLingo.
Do reminders sync to my other devices?
No. Reminders are set on each device.
Can I get only review reminders?
No. Review reminders need Daily Reminder turned on.
