Home and history
The Home page in PlayLingo: your watch history by day, progress on each video, saved-word and practice badges, and how to remove videos.
Home keeps every video you’ve opened, so you can pick up right where you left off.
How to continue a video
- Open the Play tab and swipe to Home (on iPad, tap Home in the tab bar or sidebar).
- Videos are grouped by the day you watched them, newest first.
- Tap a video to open its video page, then start it again.
If you haven’t watched anything yet, Home shows Your story starts here. Tap Find something to watch to go to Explore.
What the badges mean
Under each video:
- ▶ duration — the bar inside shows how much of the video you’ve watched.
- Level — the video’s CEFR level, when it’s known.
A second row shows your work on the video. Tap a badge to see what it means:
- Words saved — for example “3 words saved from this video”.
- Sentences built — lines you put together in Build mode.
- Sentences spoken — lines you said out loud in Speak mode.
Remove a video or its subtitles
Tap the ⋯ button on the video’s row:
- Delete Subtitles — deletes the prepared subtitles and translations for this video. The video stays in your history; subtitles are prepared again next time you open it.
- Remove — removes the video from your history.
The same menu has Share and Open on YouTube. Touching and holding a video shows those two actions as well.
History and your languages
History belongs to your learning language: each course has its own Home. Removing a video doesn’t delete the words you saved from it — they stay in Vocabulary.
Common questions
