Refunds
How to request a refund for PlayLingo Pro — through Apple for App Store purchases, or through Paddle for purchases on the website.
Who issues a refund depends on where you paid. Your receipt tells you: it comes either from Apple or from Paddle.
How to request a refund for an App Store purchase
Apple processes App Store payments and decides on refunds — we can’t issue them ourselves.
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Choose Request a refund.
- Select the PlayLingo purchase and describe the reason.
Apple usually replies within a couple of days. If you have trouble with the steps, write to us — we’ll help.
Website purchases (Paddle)
Purchases on playlingo.app are processed by Paddle, our reseller. Refunds follow the Refund Policy:
- Request a refund at paddle.net with the email used at checkout, or
- Write to info@playlingo.app with that email and the order number from your Paddle receipt.
After a refund
- Pro access for the refunded period ends.
- If you don’t want Pro to renew, make sure the subscription is cancelled.
- Your words, history and streak stay in your account.
Common questions
I cancelled. Do I get the rest of the period back?
Cancelling only stops renewal. You keep Pro until the period ends; a refund is a separate request.
I was charged twice.
Check whether you have two subscriptions — for example, one in the App Store and one on the website, or on two Apple IDs. Write to us with both receipts and we’ll help sort it out.
Can PlayLingo support refund an App Store charge?
No, only Apple can. Use reportaproblem.apple.com.
