2. Use of the App

You may use PlayLingo for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the app, including its user interface, explanations, translations, or internal logic, without our written permission.

3. Third-Party Content (YouTube)

The app streams publicly available videos from YouTube using the official IFrame Player API.

We do not host, download, or modify any third-party video content.

All rights to video and subtitle content remain with the original creators and YouTube channels.

Use of such content is governed by YouTube's own Terms of Service.

4. Subtitles and Content Processing

Some videos may include auto-generated subtitles provided by YouTube.

To improve the learning experience, the app may:

• enhance these subtitles (e.g., fix punctuation, clarify phrases),
• provide translations,
• generate AI-powered explanations of vocabulary and grammar.

All enhancements are processed locally or through authorized services. We do not redistribute or claim ownership of original subtitle content.

5. Content Filtering

To comply with intellectual property guidelines, PlayLingo excludes known commercial or trademarked content (e.g., Netflix, Disney, HBO) from search results and recommendations.

We make reasonable efforts to filter such content but do not guarantee 100% exclusion. If you believe that any content in the app infringes your rights, please contact us immediately.

We respect your privacy.

We collect only minimal data required to personalize your learning experience (e.g., language preference, progress).

10. Purchases & Subscriptions

PlayLingo offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock additional features or remove usage limitations. These subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed via the App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.

All billing and subscription operations are handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information directly.
