The neural voices are large models, so they are downloaded once instead of being bundled with the app. The first download needs an internet connection; after that the voices work offline.
Does TTS Reader work without internet?
Yes. Once a voice is downloaded, reading aloud, text recognition and your library all work on your device, even in airplane mode. Opening a web link needs a connection to load that page.
Which files can I open?
PDF, EPUB, Word (DOCX), TXT, Markdown, HTML and RTF. You can also paste text, share a web link from Safari or another app, or scan a printed page with the camera.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro.
How do I cancel my subscription or ask for a refund?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
